Born: 2017
Comes from: Hotel Resort in Slovakia
Arrival Stichting Leeuw: September 2021

After an emergency call, Muba was collected from a Hotel Resort in Slovakia, which is now closed. She had been living there since she was a cub.
The hotel had to find sanctuary for several lions and tigers, which lived next to the hotel as an attraction. They had to leave before the end of 2021, because the permits for keeping these animals was not prolonged.
Muba is quite cross-eyed. This is a handicap which sometimes occurs in white tigers. The white tiger is not a separate species, but a mutation which does not occur in the wild. As these tigers are bred and inbred to achieve the white colour, these big cats often have clinical deviations.
